I really recommend this place. The pet plan is great value for money (the parasite tablets alone are worth it) and everyone is very friendly. They take great care of your pet when needed for an operation and keep you informed throughout, as well as welcome any calls if you're worried. The prices are very reasonable and I felt everyone was honest about whether anything was needed or not (they weren't trying to upsell lots of treatments like I have had at other places). They also have given tonnes of advice and really take time with each patient.

Don’t register if you have rabbits, sadly vets just aren’t taught much about them as they’re classed as “exotic”. The vets here are so lovely and If you have a cat or dog, I’d highly recommend. But our bunny with arthritis was on an incorrect dose of pain meds for a whole year (half the correct dose) and went down hill with weight loss and hair pulling due to this. The vet didn’t even know how to take her temperature or know basic information like what urine scald is. Now having seen an experienced rabbit vet she’s on the right dose and doing incredibly well. I wish she hadn’t suffered for a year first when I though we were doing everything right. God forbid an emergency situation like GI stasis had happened, I don’t think they would have had the knowledge to help our bunnies, so just register with an experienced rabbit vet instead.

We Took our poorly 12 year shi tzu to an emergency appointment as we weren’t actually from this area. The staff at reception couldn’t have been kinder The vet we saw was so very compassionate, thorough and professional And although the outcome wasn’t one we wanted, couldn’t fault the practice at all This morning, in the post we had a beautiful sympathy card and seeds to scatter in remembrance of our beautiful Carrie 💔

Pet doctors Chandlers Ford are always welcoming and efficient. Today whilst picking up Mabels tablets, I asked about getting her spayed. I was given all the information I needed. Last Mon, Mabel had eaten something at a neighbours house and began vomiting and violently shaking. The staff at the vets were very calm, thorough in their questions and managed to get us into the partner vet in Southampton. They too were very efficient, thankfully Mabel recovered after 24hours. Thank you all so much.

Our dog had a c-section at this vets and died. Obviously we are very upset about this. If the vets suggests and advises you to have your dog spaded at the same time as a c-section decline the offer as we believe this was too much for our little dog to deal with. We were told the operation was to blame straight after she passed away, then we asked to make a decision on a autopsy within a hour of her passing. We now know we should of been offered a fridge/freezer to keep her body examinable but this never happened so make sure you request this to help with your decision on a autopsy if this ever happens to you at this vets. As the vets took responsibility of the tragedy we didn’t go with a autopsy. Next meeting with the vets they denied all responsibility saying the operation was a success. The operation cost over £1600 and there was no compensation for any of this. We have had a very hard time loosing our beloved girl and still struggling to get over it.
