The staff are absolutely amazing, from those at front of house answering phones and inquiries, to the nurses to the vets. They have given our Doug the best care for the last 5 years.

Absolutely awful! My 2 cats went for a check up. One was obviously overweight which I knew but much smaller one was also weighed and was surprised to be told he was also overweight. Was asked to come back in 2 weeks time. Reduced food for both cats and when I returned saw a different vet and was told my smaller cat was very underweight. When I challenged this and told her about previous vet's advice, she got very defensive and told me there must be some other underlying health reason for the drastic loss of weight and suggested various very expensive tests. I was fuming and mortified that I had been given incorrect information and upset at the thought I had been starving my sweet cat. I completely dismissed her 'diagnosis' and I am writing this 2 years later and my cat has not been struck down by some mystery disease! Totally incompetent do not put the health of your animals in their hands. Would give them no stars if I could!

Always a great service at Hook vets. The reception staff and vets are always transparent on costs, and are always friendly and professional. I have used Hook vets for over 8 years where they have helped look after my cats, dogs and rabbits. Highly recommend.

We cannot fault Hook Veterinary Surgery, all the staff are so helpful and friendly. We have pet plan and pet plan+ for our fur babies. Pet plan+ really does give you extra peace of mind knowing that you can go for a consultation and not have to pay anything for that. You also get a good discount on treatments and products with pet plan. We have had our first dog spayed and also teeth cleaned there, they give such amazing care. Our new rescue dog is booked in for teeth cleaning next week and then a spay in March, we know she will be really cared for. Highly recommended.
