Medivet Yateley Kynoch Vets

Medivet Yateley Kynoch Vets is part of the Medivet group and offers routine appointments alongside access to round-the-clock emergency care through Medivet’s 24-hour centres. Owners regularly describe a calm, low-stress atmosphere, with friendly familiar staff and gentle handling during visits. Recent feedback also highlights confidence in the clinical team for both routine care and cases that need fast escalation, referral, or prompt in-house treatment.

Services

•Routine preventive care: annual check-ups and vaccinations are specifically mentioned, including a review describing a cat being kept settled during a vaccination appointment with treats.
•Puppy care: puppy checks are mentioned in reviews, with gentle handling noted.
•Surgery and treatment planning: recent feedback mentions a dog’s surgery being arranged quickly in-house, with owners kept updated throughout and appointments offered promptly.
•End-of-life care: one owner specifically praises the support they received during euthanasia.
•Emergency and out-of-hours care: access to 24/7 emergency care is available through Medivet’s wider network of 24-hour centres.
•Advanced diagnostics and referral when needed: one detailed client account describes rapid escalation of a serious chest problem, including a CT scan and urgent referral to intensive care for surgery.

Pricing

A very limited amount of published pricing suggests the clinic may sit above average, but this is based on very few comparable services. One published example is Medivet’s overnight emergency consultation fee of £130 for consultations between 7pm and 9am. Review comments on cost are mostly positive, with owners describing the practice as excellent value for money and one recent review calling surgery pricing very competitive, although one owner mentioned not receiving a requested quote after a visit.

People

•Sophie Carman: mentioned by an owner as moving to Yateley from another Medivet practice; she is credited with quick thinking and diligence in arranging a CT scan and urgent referral that helped save a dog’s life.
•Dimitri / Dimitrios: praised as a knowledgeable and professional vet, with reviews highlighting gentle handling during a puppy check and compassionate support during euthanasia.
•Harry and Jo: named positively as friendly and helpful members of the support team.

Highly recommend Medivet Yateley, they accommodated my dogs surgery extremely quickly, in house and without any hassle at a very competitive price. They offered quick appointments at times to suit and the team are all genuinely caring and friendly. They were very reassuring and kept me up to date throughout. Happy to answer all questions and give advice. I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else

I’ve recently moved all of my animals to Medivet Yateley and I’ve been absolutely delighted. The whole team is so friendly and kind, and the service is excellent value for money. It’s really reassuring to know my pets are being cared for by familiar, friendly faces and that the team genuinely prioritises their wellbeing rather than just trying to make money. Highly recommend.

I'm leaving this review as I will be moving to the area and changing to medivet Yately from medivet Ashford purely because Ive learnt that Sophie Carman lead vet at Ashford is joining Yately. I sharing just one of my experiences of outstanding treatment Sophie has provided. Just recently Sophie has literally saved my young Spaniels life with her quick thinking and total diligence She spotted something wasn't right in his chest quickly organising a CT scan taking him in her own car to do that then organising a swift referral to The Ralph to their intensive care unit resulting in a Median Sternotomy. Without Sophie's extremely quick thinking and expert knowledge I'm sure
