Lumbry have cared for several of my cats over the years, and there is no one I would trust more. The team are extremely knowledgeable and offer advanced testing and diagnostic facilities. They are thoughtful and, most importantly, always put the cats’ wellbeing first. They truly care.

Milo was referred to Lumbry Park on 23.12.25 for investigation of coughing, which he had for several weeks and had not cleared up, together with increased breathing and general lethargy . Met up with Shaun (Medicine Team) who then admitted Milo for Echocardiography and investigation. When we collected him on Christmas Eve he had improved vastly . It transpired he had mitral valve disease and congestive heart failure (stage C)but had responded well to treatment . Service was professional and quick in diagnosis and we had a follow up appointment with William (Cardiologist) the following week . Milo is currently back to his old self and even tho he is now on lots of meds and his life expectancy is 9-12 months we felt the service received was second to none at Lumbry Park. All the staff are considerate and empathetic with both the animals and their owners. William and Shaun explained everything fully, spent time with us and then sent follow up reports . We’ll ensure Milo has some good holidays this year -here’s a photo of him in Poole - his favourite place ❤️

I found Lorna to be a very understanding and easy to talk to re Mia's condition...and Mia who can be a bit funny with strangers, was very at ease. It's good to know I have someone to turn to and talk to about Mia's future .... and felt Mia had the best care

Thank you, from the first phone call we were reassured. Bess had IMHA previously, now diagnosed with PIMA. She had a blood transfusion and numerous tests. Throughout we were kept informed, Shaun and Xavier explained everything so clearly, they and the nursing team really looked after Bess, cannot thank everyone enough, Bess is home and recovering well, Happy New Year

This is our third visit to lumbry park, Excellent service is provided. The care given by the vets & staff is very professional knowing your pet is in safe hands. Our staffy had a plate fitted in his leg by vicky which was successful & she was always at the end of a phone to help. She listened to the fact that our dog was stressful & made him feel comfortable during his stay. They explain clearly about all the options & after care. Also a visit to the cardiologist Will was very detailed & helped us understand the heart condition our dog now has. I would not hesitate to use this Veterinary Hospital for my dog in the future. Wonderful place. Our 15 year old dog Poppy was referred when she was really only a day from a euthanasia decision after her lymphoma had come out of remission. Kasia the oncologist was just amazing. She was so clear and with an absolute plan of what exactly could be done to treat her and what the treatment could and couldn't achieve. Poppy was treated there and then on Monday with an enzyme and again on Wednesday with chemo. The whole thing was so efficient and quick that Poppy barely knew she'd been to the vets. We waited in reception whilst the treatments were given then took her home. Everyone we've met there has been kind and friendly. Our visits to Lumbry Park have already been worth every penny. Poppy has improved in herself as the week has gone on, is alert, interested and eating well and the lymph nodes have gone down. Today she had the longest happiest walk she's had in ages. We've been given the gift of wonderful extra time with our beloved dog and that's everything we could have asked for. I'm so grateful to our local vet for her efforts in referring us and would recommend Lumbry Park to anyone with an animal with cancer.

Lumbry is a very special place and everyone we have met has been amazing, from reception to nurses and to the vets and specialists. When we first arrived and met Heidi and Lorna, they picked up our two boys, tickled their little tummies and both kittens just went gooey-eyed and fell in love. It is never easy as you don't visit a place like Lumbry unless there are issues with your pet. On subsequent visits, we met with Lorna whose compassion, care, support, expertise and love has been out of this world. We will always be eternally grateful to her and all of the staff at Lumbry for everything they've done for us and our two boys. They truly are special people, delivering first-class care for what is such an incredibly hard job. A heartfelt thank you to all at Lumbry.

My teacup yorkie visited Lumbry Park after suffering with sepsis, and they were absolutely brilliant. Couldn't have asked for a better practice, the staff are professional, friendly and empathetic. He stayed with them for 10 days and they were more than happy to arrange visits every day when he was able, they kept me in the loop with everything throughout, and updated me when I called to check in. They even kept his little bow in for visits and his blankets that came out with him were always fresh and clean too. Couldn't recommend them more and would trust them again with any of our dogs. My little one is back to his normal self now all thanks to everyone at Lumbry Park

The team at Lumbry park were absolutely incredible from start to finish. My miniature Dachshund needed emergency spinal surgery and they were so reassuring and supportive throughout, let alone being so unbelievably skilled and professional. Every member of the team were an absolute delight and nothing seemed too much to ask of them. They gave me regular updates and pictures and really took the time to explain everything in detail. I can not thank them enough and I would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you so much to the whole team at Lumbry Park.
