The facilities were excellent and although very much accommodated the animals, were very comfortable for their humans as well! Barney was excellent. He described the situation, the likely scenarios and outcomes extremely well. At no point did we feel pressured, we were given the facts we needed to make the decision to go ahead with further investigations/surgery but also the limitations. Lumbry took great care of Willow post surgery and diagnosis and after care instructions were thorough. In person communications were much appreciated.

Excellent service for our little pooch. Jeremy the veterinary surgeon was exceptional. We were given regular updates on her post op. Very helpful reception aswell. Overall, undervthe circumstances, we were so pleased it was Lumbry again, although it was a bit of a trek!!! Many thanks for a fantastic service

Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists were amazing, we were referred here with our boy Domino who had bladder stones causing a partial urethral obstruction and needed a cystotomy. The receptionists were so friendly and helpful with the paperwork and so understanding when I was clearly worrying about Domino. The vets explained everything in detail, answering all our questions and clearly showed they care. I hated having to leave my boy but they took the absolute best care of him, surgery went well and we were kept up to date with how he was doing. We were so thankful to be able to pick him up ❤️ His recovery went really well, the scar healed amazingly and we felt fully supported throughout! Thank you so, so much Lumbry Park!! An amazing, dedicated and impressive team!

After initially being directed to another veterinary referral centre where I was informed that my five-year-old German Shepherd simply had ‘typical wear and tear’ symptoms, I knew something more serious was going on, so I asked to be referred to Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists. From the moment I met Jeremy Rose, I felt an enormous sense of relief. Within minutes it was clear that Voodoo was in truly expert hands, and the anxiety I had been experiencing immediately dissipated into confidence that we were finally going to get the answers he needed. Every single member of the team I encountered, from the initial phone call from reception staff to nurses and veterinary surgeons were kind, caring and highly professional. Throughout the whole process Voodoo was treated with such compassion and expertise. I am deeply grateful for the care Voodoo received and I would not hesitate to recommend Lumbry Park to anyone needing specialist veterinary care for their animal.

Lumbry have cared for several of my cats over the years, and there is no one I would trust more. The team are extremely knowledgeable and offer advanced testing and diagnostic facilities. They are thoughtful and, most importantly, always put the cats’ wellbeing first. They truly care.

Milo was referred to Lumbry Park on 23.12.25 for investigation of coughing, which he had for several weeks and had not cleared up, together with increased breathing and general lethargy . Met up with Shaun (Medicine Team) who then admitted Milo for Echocardiography and investigation. When we collected him on Christmas Eve he had improved vastly . It transpired he had mitral valve disease and congestive heart failure (stage C)but had responded well to treatment . Service was professional and quick in diagnosis and we had a follow up appointment with William (Cardiologist) the following week . Milo is currently back to his old self and even tho he is now on lots of meds and his life expectancy is 9-12 months we felt the service received was second to none at Lumbry Park. All the staff are considerate and empathetic with both the animals and their owners. William and Shaun explained everything fully, spent time with us and then sent follow up reports . We’ll ensure Milo has some good holidays this year -here’s a photo of him in Poole - his favourite place ❤️

I found Lorna to be a very understanding and easy to talk to re Mia's condition...and Mia who can be a bit funny with strangers, was very at ease. It's good to know I have someone to turn to and talk to about Mia's future .... and felt Mia had the best care

Thank you, from the first phone call we were reassured. Bess had IMHA previously, now diagnosed with PIMA. She had a blood transfusion and numerous tests. Throughout we were kept informed, Shaun and Xavier explained everything so clearly, they and the nursing team really looked after Bess, cannot thank everyone enough, Bess is home and recovering well, Happy New Year
