Cedar Vets is an independent veterinary clinic (the website says it has been independent since 1893). Recent reviews suggest it’s set up for routine care plus same-day urgent assessments, with owners describing being “fitted straight in” for sudden wobbliness in a terrier and being offered a same-day visit or a home visit after a phone call about a cat’s bowel issue. Practical details mentioned by owners include a large practice with big waiting rooms, and one reviewer says there is a “calm cat corner” for anxious cats. Multiple reviewers also note they didn’t feel pressured into extra treatments.

Cedar Vets have never met me, nor my cat. He’s a happy healthy house cat and luckily we have never needed a vets visit. I called Cedars on Monday as I was concerned about his bowel movements. I cannot thank and praise the staff enough for the kindness and support they gave over the phone without even having met us. They were so reassuring, and every person I have spoken to this week have just been so welcoming and lovely to speak to. The problem cleared up today on its own, but I just cannot thank them enough for the support they gave me. They were professional, and provided such calming and caring voices which soothed the anxiety. They were willing to see us straight away whether that be at the vets or a home visit. They said they even have a calm cat corner for any anxious house cats! If I ever need to take my cat to a vet, it will always be here. My friend has said amazing things about them too as she uses them for her cats. Would highly recommend! Thank you to all the staff who helped coach me through this week, it’s appreciated more than you know!!

No problem. Annual health check done speedily and efficiently. Possibly a bit expensive but good service.

I brought Daisy in for her first visit to get her second round of injections. It's a lovely Practice, plenty of parking and large waiting rooms. Sylvia was brilliant with Daisy and made a big fuss of her. Daisy was great not frightened at all. Thanks to all at the Alton Practice.

Very professional and friendly team. They are helpful at answering questions and explaining something if you don't understand it. The lifetime club, is a bonus and affordable! Making owning a pet and looking after them more affordable for the pet parent. Many thanks to you all at the Alton vets.

Marley just wants to say a very big Thankyou to vet Tom for all his care during his nasty bout of aspiration pneumonia. Marley just loves his visits to Cedars, all the treats and cuddles and visiting vet James for his regular Cartrophen. I have been taking my dogs to Cedars for 30years and would never go anywhere else. Such a lovely, caring practice. I am very grateful and I know Marley will be continuing to enjoy his visits for a while longer thanks to their care.

Bentley has been registered for about 18 months with Cedar vet (Alton) after we moved from London. I have always found them to be friendly & welcoming, plus getting a same day appointment is pretty easy. We’ve seen about 6 different vets, but it doesn’t seem to be too much of an issue if you want to see someone specific. Sadly my 12 year old cocker spaniel is getting towards the end of his life & I will become more dependent on them, - that will be a challenging time.

On time polite understanding and caring. Nice open waiting area . Consultation rooms not overpowering for your pet and the vet herself was extremely informative and helpful. My daughter recommended you as we had just moved from Bordon. Bertie was very happy.
