Could not rate Moores Orthopaedic Clinic and Christ Jordan highly enough. Following an initial diagnosis from our local vet we were told our dog would need to go under general anaesthetic for a CT and Xray (over £1,500) due to a potential dislocated knee which would likely require surgery and extensive rehabilitation. Having researched Moores we drove almost 2 hours to see them for specialist advice and we are so glad we did. Chris was so helpful and knowledgeable explaining everything and did a full physical examination on our dog (even going outside to watch her walk and run) without the need to put her under general anaesthetic. Chris then confirmed that she didn’t need the surgery as the initial diagnosis had been mistaken and he was incredibly professional in explaining our vets confusion and without trying to push for costly scans or procedures as some vets sadly do. We left with the knowledge that our dog had been fully assessed by an expert with a wealth of experience and that should she ever have any ortho problems, Moores would be the best place to take care of her.

Unfortunately, back in November our cocker spaniel Leroy suffered a cruciate ligament injury. Although we didn't realise the extent of the injury ,we decided he needed to see the vet. Our vet had initial suspicions as to the extent of the injury & recommended that we booked an appointment with Chris at Moore's Clinic. AS soon as we arrived we were met by courteous receptionists who immediately put us at ease. After a more detailed examination & x-ray, Chris explained that Leroy had a full rupture to his cruciate ligament & would need surgery. He explained what the operation entailed and Leroy was booked in for his operation. Having just returned from our 6 weekly post op check-up I'm pleased to say that although Leroy still needs a little more monitoring he is well on the way to a full recovery. We'd like to thank all at Moore's for their treatment of Leroy & would have no hesitation in recommending them for both their care & professionalism. Laura @ Lennie L

Super happy with everything from Andy and his team. Our pooch, Barney, received the highest form of care before, during and after surgery. Additionally, we could readily engage with the practice via their App, with all questions and concerns swiftly answered. The fairness and value from the practice regarding fees is outstanding; and meets their objectives of being open, comprehensive and market-beating re: providing value for money. Hugely recommended should your pet need a specialist referral.

I am very happy with the service provided. The cost was lower than anywhere else, and all the staff were great with my very nervous boxer dog.

Lenci the bulldog had cruciate ligament disease on both her hind legs. After searching through several local orthopaedic specialists my partner came across Moores. They have amazing reviews and great prices therefore we decided to ask our vets to refer Lenci on. We have been supported by Chris throughout the process and he has completed two seperate TPLO surgeries for Lenci. The care Lenci has received has been outstanding and Moores has been supportive throughout. They talk you through the process and ensure you have the knowledge you need to make informed decisions. Chris used a specialist technique called arthroscopy which means Lenci’s scars are minimal. Lenci has recovered well and we have been supported with any after operation queries we have had. Moores is specialist, reasonable and takes great care in the work that they do. If you are considering using their services I highly recommend. Lenci’s quality of life has now significantly improved.

We were recommended, by our vet, to Moores for our dog Rubex to have a TPLO on his left leg. Right from the start Chris and his team were so welcoming and efficient. We took him in early morning and he was back with us by mid afternoon. The follow up advice and 6 week check - all brilliant, and now six weeks later he is practically back to normal. We couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. Would highly recommended Moores to any one needing Orthopedic procedures for their dog or cat. Many thanks to all the team.

We brought our pug to Moores Orthopaedic Surgery for treatment, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Chris stood out as an incredibly helpful and reassuring presence—his expertise and kindness made a stressful time feel manageable. Every member of staff we encountered was outstanding: professional, compassionate, and clearly committed to the highest standard of care. We felt genuinely supported and well-informed throughout our pup’s journey. A special mention goes to their app, which was a brilliant tool during her admission—keeping us updated and connected when it mattered most. For anyone seeking expert orthopaedic care for their pet, Moores is a place you can trust.

After looking into a number of clinics, we felt confident choosing The Moores Ortho Clinic and they didn’t disappoint. Andy and the team were fantastic from start to finish, guiding us through Cloud’s total hip replacement with care, professionalism, and clear communication. From the first consultation to surgery and follow-ups, they made the whole process smooth and reassuring. Cloud’s recovery is going really well, and we’re incredibly grateful to the team for the amazing care they provided. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing expert orthopedic treatment for their pets.

We would 100% recommend Moores Orthopaedic Clinic. Rollo, our 12-month old working Golden Retriever, needed a total hip replacement and after reading up on Fitzpatrick Referrals and Moores we opted for the latter based on the fact it was a smaller specialist practice with leading expertise. Rollo is just past the 8-week mark and doing very well. The operation went very smoothly and the after care and advice we have received has been excellent. A big thank-you to Andy and the team who have been fantastic - we always felt in the very best of hands.
