No acknowledgement when you walk in. Took them 4 attempts to finally have treatments sent in post each time I prompted. Wasn't tracking their treatments properly, tried giving worming tables too early insisting it was due, then when he was due they wouldn't give it as they were then sure they had already prescribed it. Truly unreliable service and disjointed communication.

The Hampshire Vets have gone above and beyond helping our cat with recurring emergency hospitalisations lately. They have been so lovely and empathetic during some scary times and have always kept us updated with how our boy has been doing. They have been so wonderful that our cat is actually no longer anxious when the cat carrier is brought out! They have helped me to get over my own fears about taking pets to the vet after some tricky situations in the past. Thank you for everything you have done for our boy so far, we are very grateful!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I have had a very poorly 4 year old Rottie over the last couple months. I came to The Hampshire Vet for a second opinion after not being happy with my previous vet and their diagnosis. From the moment I walked into the practice everyone was warm and welcoming. The care and love they showed my dog was so lovely to see, everyone made it a nice experience for him as well as me. The vet team spoke through every potential diagnosis with me and the tests they wanted to run, made it easy to understand. They ran multiple tests and were super thorough trying to work out the diagnosis. Within a 2 week period I came to The Hampshire Vet around 6 times and every time I got the same amazing service. I sadly had to return a month later due to another illness my boy caught, but again exactly the same brilliant service as I had a month prior. The receptionist are there to make you smile, laugh with you and reassure you when you’re leaving your dog overnight. The vets are so knowledgeable, take the time to explain everything and are really reassuring. You can tell they want nothing but the best for the animals and treat them like their own. The over night staff are equally as amazing keeping you updated at each step. I will not take my boy anywhere else, I can’t thank them enough for what they did through a really tough month. He’s back fighting fit and a massive ball of energy again. Lauren and Reggie (The Rottie)

A wonderful caring veterinary practice we would recommend to everyone. We were looking at moving our cat to a new practice that was more animal focused and friendly and came across online reviews for The Hampshire Vet around eight months ago and therefore registered our cat in plenty of time before her vaccine was due. We recently had our first visit with Mia our cat and also with our kitten. We have been so impressed with every aspect of the practice. The reception team are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The waiting area is lovely and clean. The vets are all so knowledgeable, thorough and happy to assist with any queries. The pricing is transparent and the after care is great. We’ve also found the email reminders before appointments and the emails re discharge and aftercare for our kitten’s castration really useful. We use to be given bits of paper at our old vets but the email system with Hampshire Vet is much more convenient. If you want a local, knowledgeable, friendly animal focused vet then the Hampshire Vet is for you.

Always such wonderful care of the animals they see. My very nervous cat required dental work under an anaesthetic and has sailed through it. And it’s such a comfort knowing the surgery is available 24/7. Changing to The Hampshire Vet for my dog and two cats was one of the best things I have done

I took Bella, my cat, for an emergency appointment an a Sunday although she wasn’t registered with them. From start to finish both Bella and I were treated with kindness, with Lisa talking quietly and reassuringly to Bella (and to me, an anxious owner). I would highly recommend! Bella is now registered with them.
