St Kitts Vets is a veterinary practice that’s also listed as a Veterinary Nurse Training facility. Recent reviews suggest the team regularly handles situations that need clear decision-making and communication—owners mention being kept updated step-by-step, being given different treatment options with costs explained upfront, and getting practical help after routine procedures (for example, fitting a cone after a cat’s spay when the owner wasn’t registered). Feedback on front-desk experience is mixed: several owners describe reception as kind and helpful, while others report sharp/condescending manner and sensitive payment conversations being spoken about loudly in the waiting area.
Google rating: 4.7 stars from 340 reviews. - Communication during treatment: owners mention being updated throughout and having options explained alongside costs.

Unfortunately, the behaviour of some reception staff lets this practice down. One particular receptionist regularly appears grumpy and speaks to clients in a sharp, unpleasant tone. What I find most unacceptable is the lack of discretion. If you owe money or are required to do something, this is sometimes addressed loudly in front of the entire waiting room, which is embarrassing and completely inappropriate. Sensitive matters should be handled privately, not broadcast to other clients. It’s disappointing, as the rest of the team work hard, but this kind of service creates an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere. Basic courtesy and professionalism at reception would make a significant difference.

St Kitts Vets have some amazing vets however the pet plan is a complete let down. We were told that we could have the money to have our nervous rescue dog vaccinated at a new vets (in a new county) as they weren't able to do it due to issues in their waiting room. The vet said we could have money back from the let plan due to the failed attempt to vaccinate the dog. I have just been charged £250, after being told it was less (£148) for what we have had. In an attempt to back out of giving us the money towards the vaccinations, they have said that what was said by the vet was never said and is untrue (a.k.a we are liars which we aren't). If we had known, we would have just pushed through the vaccinations.

I have had an excellent experience with this veterinary practice and felt compelled to share my review. They have provided exceptional care for my guide dog, Dejay, and have always made both of us feel at ease. The staff are consistently welcoming and delighted to see him as he trots through the doors. I highly recommend this practice.

Huge thank you to your amazing team who were working today. This little pandas mummy needed a bit of assistance to get him into the world. Lovely team of people who updated me every step of the way and were clear with different treatment options and their associated costs from the outset. Best of all they're open at the weekend, including Sundays! Will be moving all of our cats to St Kitts 😺

I’m not usually registered with this vet but they let us come in regardless to put a cone on our cat as she managed to get out of her onesie after being spayed. The team were so lovely and gave us lots of helpful advice. Thank you!

Some of the staff at this vet clinic were kind and professional, which I really appreciated. However, one of the team members came across as very entitled and condescending, speaking to clients in a way that felt dismissive and superior. It left a really uncomfortable impression. On top of that, the prices were extremely high for the services offered. I understand vet care isn’t cheap, but the costs here felt excessive compared to other clinics. Because of the overall attitude and pricing, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place unless the staff attitude becomes more respectful and the pricing more transparent.

I cannot recommend this practise enough. I am not sure I have enough words to describe just how good they were with me and my cat. From Phoebe on reception to every vet I spoke to. (Sorry I cannot remember all your names) Spartapuss was very poorly and they handled the whole thing with empathy, clearly communicating and just making an awful situation almost bearable. Thank you so much.

What a wonderful and welcoming vets. Once we moved from pets at home vets we realised what we had been missing. A special thanks to Izzy for her time and patience trying to help our gorgeous dog Monty. Unfortunately we had to make the decision to let him go to rainbow 🌈 bridge. Completely broke our hearts, the support and care we received was the best, so I would highly recommend izzy and this practice. It's not all about money with them, they truly care. Thank you for the card we received, very touching. ❤️

Such a wonderful, helpful vets! Reception have all been so kind and helpful every interaction I've had with them. All vets I've seen have been so sweet and kind with my very VERY timid cat, Luna. Helped with calming meds to make getting her into her appointments a bit easier. Always so keen to go the extra mile to make us owners and pets feel welcome and comfortable. Really a wonderful place. Highly recommend!
