We changed to this Surgery 5yrs ago, all the staff are excellent and we met the most wonderful pragmatic vet who started our dog on painkillers/anti inflammatory for arthritis. When he retired her care was mainly provided by marvellous Joe Gosling who guided us through managing this and other various health issues. Sadly one day this July she suddenly went downhill and we had to make the decision to say goodbye. Everyone on duty that evening was so understanding and supportive and we have no hesitation in recommending this vet practice for the care of your pets.

This veterinary surgery has always been wonderful to deal with and have taken great care of multiple pets of ours. We have just rehomed a couple of kittens and we dealt with an incredibly lovely, helpful person on the phone this morning to get the ball rolling with what they need. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was shocked at how casually euthanasia was raised by this practice. The pet in question had shown only minor behavioural issues — no severe injuries, no history of aggression — and putting the animal to sleep was considered. No behavioural support was proposed. That is deeply unethical and does not indicate that they value animal life. A vet should explore every avenue before entertaining the possibility of ending a healthy animal’s life: referral to a qualified clinical animal behaviourist, and practical management strategies in the home, and pharmacological interventions should have been exhausted first. I recommend avoiding this practice completely. But should you use it, if you find euthanasia being considered as a possible option without a plan for medical assessment, behaviourist referral, and risk management, I strongly advise ending the conversation immediately.

Sophie was our vet through an extremely difficult time with our pet. She was professional and very compassionate when dealing with us and our lovely dog. Thank you Sophie for being such a fab vet!

Charlotte and Ryan were brilliant with us as hosts of their gently controlled puppy parties over the last couple of weeks. The timing of it is ideal (vaccination-wise) and their depth of knowledge was so helpful in answering all our questions, plus their enthusiasm about our new puppies was really encouraging and supportive. Thank you so much Charlotte & Ryan!

I have brought all of my animals here since 2011 and will continue to do so (we have 10 animals). The staff are knowledgeable, caring, supportive and professional. They were amazing when we recently had to make the ultimate hardest decision and gave us all the time needed to say goodbye. Fantastic job by everyone. Thank you.
