Thank you to Ben for the kindness and compassion shown when it was time to say goodbye to our beautiful furbaby Lexi. She passed peacefully at home and we are so grateful for your support when we were heart broken. Lexi was with us for 13 1/2 years and she had a calm passing. Thank you for making this very sad time easier for Lexi and us. Thank you also to Lauren, you were so kind on the phone and in person. A few weeks after saying goodbye to Lexi we also had to say goodbye to our amazing Gus at just over 12 years old. Ben you were with us again when gussy crossed the rainbow bridge. Thank you again for your kindness and support . You and your team provide a compassionate and unhurried service and we are truly grateful that you were there for us and treated our Lexi and Gus with love at the end x

We lost our beloved dog Gem on Christmas Eve, following a brief illness, I contacted Final Rest, they were extremley, kind and caring, the relatives room is a lovley quiet place to say your final goodbyes. We were able to decide when she would be cremated, which was a relief to both myself and my husband.The staff were very kind to myself and our family, they talked us through the process. We were able to arrange at time that was best for us to collect her remains, this was our choice, as they do collect, and will return if required. We would highly recommend this buisness, and would use their services again in the future.

We received the sad news that our beautiful Nelly was beyond help on Christmas Eve. I knew instantly that having her euthanised in the comfort of her own home surrounded by love was my preference. We contacted Final-Rest following a recommendation from our vet and booked in for the following week. Nelly had a the best final days, eating her Christmas dinner at the table and all her favourite food! Final- Rest were so lovely, patient and understanding from our first phone call right through to collecting Nelly’s ashes. Rachel came to our house and explained the process helping our children to understand. Nelly was put to rest in the most peaceful and calm way. She was such a special girl who only deserved the best. While we are absolutely heartbroken, final-rest supported us through something that I genuinely didn’t think I could go through. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of the team who were involved in the care of our precious girl. I am forever grateful.

We cannot thank the entire team at Final Rest enough, and especially Rachel, for the compassion, kindness and dignity shown to us at such a difficult time from the very first phone call to the home visit. Rachel was exceptional - calm, gentle and incredibly respectful. She took the time to explain everything clearly, never rushed us, and ensured Polly’s final moments were peaceful and pain-free. Being able to say goodbye at home, surrounded by familiarity and love, meant more to us than words can express. Final Rest provide a service you hope you never need, but if you do, I would not hesitate to recommend them. Polly was treated with the utmost care and compassion, as a truly loved member of our family. Thank you.

Ben was absolutely fantastic with our Bert , we were a complete mess and Ben was very professional throughout , he was gentle , kind and very calming he treated our dog with the upmost respect and for that we will be eternally grateful. I would absolutely recommend Ben and his services.

We can not thank the Final Rest Team enough for their gentle compassion and kind words following the loss of our little warrior, Edwin. Thanks to their quiet efficiency and clear devotion, they made a very hard few days more bearable and enabled us to have Edwin home again so quickly. Fern dealt with us over the phone and helped make this emotional time a little less unbearable, and Christine's care of Edwin for his final journey was wonderful. Than you again from us and of course from Edwin.

We had to make the most difficult decision to put our 13-year-old Lola to rest. It was one of the toughest days of our lives, but the Final Rest team helped us through it with such kindness, compassion, and respect. Sophie made my last moments with my little girl so special and peaceful. Lola was able to enjoy a treat before she drifted off, and Sophie kindly talked us through each step so we always knew what to expect. She treated Lola with such dignity and gave us the space and comfort we needed to say goodbye. For that, I’ll always be grateful. Thank you to Sophie and the team for making such a heartbreaking day a little easier and for helping us give Lola the gentle farewell she deserved. ❤️🐾

The most wonderful service provider at such a horrible time. Ben & the team at Final Rest were absolutely amazing. We unfortunately had to let go of our beloved boy, Spot, a couple days ago. From the first call with Lauren to our home visit with Ben a couple days later, everyone was so kind, caring and thoughtful. Ben gave us the time and space we wanted but also talked us through the process so there would be no surprises. Spot went to sleep in our sunny garden eating Jaffa cakes. It was so peaceful. We want to thank Ben and the team at Final Rest for helping us through a very difficult time. We knew it was time to let go of our beloved Jazzy, and made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to call Final Rest to help us say goodbye to her. They were able to come to us at short notice and everyone we spoke to was so kind and understanding of how hard this all was. Ben arrived and it was clear he was a kind and compassionate person, which was very reassuring. He explained everything clearly with gentleness and didn't make us feel like we had to rush any part of it. We were able to hold our wonderful girl as she took her final breaths, which enabled us to have a beautiful last moment with her. We will always be grateful to the team for enabling our Jazzy to be laid to rest, in the most peaceful way ♡

A Truly Compassionate and Caring Team We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved 14-year-old girl Misty, and while it was one of the hardest days of our lives, the team at Final Rest helped us through it with such kindness, empathy, and care. From the very first phone call, Ben took the time to speak with me, patiently answering questions and offering gentle reassurance when we needed it most. His calm and compassionate nature made such a difference during a very emotional time. After the visit, he even sent us a heartfelt card, which meant the world to us all as a family. On the day, Ben treated our girl with so much love and respect. He made sure she was comfortable and at peace every step of the way. It truly felt like she was being cared for and loved by someone who understood how special she was to us. The entire team at Final Rest was incredibly supportive—not just for our beautiful girl but for us as well. Their warmth and understanding made a painful moment a little more bearable, and we will forever be grateful for the care they showed our whole family.
