Owners repeatedly mention staff taking time to settle anxious pets during exams and vaccinations, being able to book in at short notice, and clear explanations during appointments (including describing what they were doing as they worked). One review also gives a concrete example of pricing transparency: a chicken wound clean-and-bandage appointment that took around 45 minutes and was charged at a “basic” £59.99 plus medication.

I’m afraid I don’t remember the lady vet Alfie visited today but she was wonderful. Alfie is very anxious about vet visits , the vet was patient and very kind . They explained everything and took the time to try and settle Alfie before and after his annual check up and injections. Thank you ❤️

I went in today with my son and one of my cats the receptionist was polite as walked in and we sat down, we were seen promptly even though we were early. I asked quite a few questions and I was answered and never felt rushed.. on way out needed to book the surgery, the receptionist was amazing talking with me about things and she was amazing with my son, even offering him a human cupcake for great behaviour (even asking me first if ok) I left smiling happy and this is not the first time.

I took our pug to Vets for Pets yesterday and wanted to leave a review. The two young ladies on reception were honestly brilliant — really enthusiastic, polite, friendly, and genuinely made an effort with our pug (which isn’t always the case elsewhere!). I’ve been coming here for around nine years and while I’ve never had any real complaints, the current reception team really stood out. Their attitude was refreshing — happy, smiley, and you could tell they actually wanted to help. It made what can sometimes be a stressful visit feel easy and positive. They definitely deserve to be recognised for the great service they're providing. 👏🐾

My snake had suspected scale rot and I was calling so many vets to see if they'd take exotics. Unfortunately the only snake specialist in the area was away for a few weeks but Evelina agreed to see him. She was honestly so knowledgeable and helpful and gave some great advice & started him on some antibiotic injections. I can't thank her enough for looking after our poorly boy!

Great vet, booked us in at short notice with a pet chicken injury. It is hard to find vets who are happy to treat birds and despite taking time to really clean and bandage the wound (around 45 mins) we were only charged the basic 59.99 plus some medication. Very nice vet who excellent in terms of communication and advice and letting us know what was happening. This is the second time we have used this Vets for Pets as they seem very reasonable and transparent.

Our puppy is happy to visit the vets. The girls on reception make a fuss over her, which she loves, and the vet is brilliant with her. Any questions I had about our puppy were answered, and advice given was understood. Happy with the service, today and past visits
